Surprise Surprise


I was thrilled to be surprised by my Strelitzia this morning.  I have been waiting years for it to flower and often check to see if it is sending up a flower spike.  This morning I found my gorgeous Bird of Paradise as a total surprise and there is another flower spike coming.

    Wow - wonderful that you got to see it before you went away! Wouldn't it have been disappointing if you saw a flower spike when you were about to leave!
